Former Agricultural Site — 14 Acres
Phase II Assessment · DERM Coordination · Miami-Dade County

Challenge

A 14-acre former agricultural parcel required environmental assessment and DERM coordination to support a proposed development project. Legacy agricultural chemical impacts — including arsenic and pesticide residuals — needed to be characterized against applicable regulatory thresholds.

Approach

CEC conducted Phase II soil sampling targeting legacy agricultural chemical impacts, evaluated analytical results against applicable FDEP cleanup target levels, and prepared a DERM-compliant assessment report to support the client's development timeline.

Outcome

Assessment completed and submitted to DERM. Development planning advanced on schedule without regulatory delays.
