City-Wide Dewatering — City of Aventura & Village of Key Biscayne
DERM CLV Class V Permits · Municipal Infrastructure · Miami-Dade County
Two South Florida municipalities required DERM Class V Dewatering Permits for city-wide infrastructure improvement projects. Delays in permitting would directly impact construction schedules across multiple active project sites simultaneously — with no margin for regulatory back-and-forth.
CEC prepared and submitted complete Class V Dewatering Permit applications to DERM's Water Control Section for both municipalities. Drawing on our team's direct DERM experience, we structured each application to preempt the technical deficiency comments that typically cause delays — getting submissions right the first time.
Permits secured quickly with minimal interruption to either city's construction schedule. Both municipal infrastructure projects advanced on schedule.
